Walid Seif

Walid Seif is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in test engineering and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Test Engineer at SciTec, Inc., since June 2023, Walid Seif is responsible for functional decomposition of requirements, creating test plans and cases, executing tests across multiple environments, and developing automation scripts. Prior to this role, Walid Seif spent over two decades at Seagate Technology, where responsibilities included leading test process teams, developing test process scripts in Python, and deploying self-test firmware. Earlier career experience encompasses firmware testing and development roles at Western Digital and software engineering at AIC. Walid Seif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Concordia University and a degree in Pure and Applied Science from Dawson College.
