Michele Polastri

Michele Polastri is an experienced structural engineer and team leader with a strong background in project management and structural design. Currently serving as Team Leader for French Support at SCIA since January 2018, Michele oversees performance assessment, team scheduling, and quality control within the French Support Engineer Team. Previous roles include Project Manager at McAndrew Martin, specializing in feasibility studies and structural design, and Structural Engineer at Regione Emilia-Romagna, focusing on building project approval and compliance with Eurocodes and seismic norms. Freelance experience involved structural and seismic analysis for diverse construction projects, while academic contributions included research on seismic vulnerability at Universita degli Studi di Ferrara. Michele holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and additional qualifications in civil and architectural engineering.
