Seán Halpin

Seán Halpin has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Seán is currently the Chief Executive Officer at SciDev Limited, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at the same company from April 2022 to November 2022. From May 2021 to April 2022, Seán worked as the Head of Water Services at SciDev Limited.

Before joining SciDev Limited, Seán co-founded Haldon Industries in 2016 and served as the Commercial Director until May 2021. Seán also has experience as a Project Manager at Synergy Resource Management from March 2013 to February 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer at Enviropacific Services Pty Ltd from April 2011 to March 2013.

Seán's earlier work experience includes roles such as Junior Environmental Consultant at Mulroy Environmental from May 2010 to April 2011, Graduate/Undergraduate Engineering Technician at Dyno Rod from April 2008 to September 2009, and Staff Scientist at Ecosafe Services from May 2007 to September 2007.

Seán Halpin holds a BSc in Environmental Science and Health, which they obtained from Dublin City University between 2005 and 2009. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued an International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety at the National Examination Board. Later, in 2009 and 2010, Seán completed an MSc in Environmental Engineering at Newcastle University.
