Ben Deighton

Ben Deighton is an experienced journalist and editor with a robust background in media. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at SciDev.Net since July 2017, Ben previously held the position of Editor In Chief at Horizon Magazine from 2013 to June 2017. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a Reporter for Reuters News Agency between March 2007 and September 2013 and as an Editor for Animal Pharm from January 2004 to March 2007. Ben's journalism career began at Hackney Gazette as a News Reporter from September 2001 to January 2004. Academically, Ben holds a degree in French from Queen Mary University of London (1993 - 1998) and a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from the University of the Arts London (2000 - 2001).
