Henrik Bootz

Henrik Bootz has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Henrik is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Acting CEO at Science and Medicine Group. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Science and Medicine Group and held a role in CFO Services and International Advisory. Henrik also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Hembal. In the past, Henrik has held various finance director positions at EF Education First, where they oversaw finance teams in different regions and collaborated with multiple business line managers. Henrik has also served as the Executive Chairman at GoEd Student Financing Limited and held board positions at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Naval Officer in the Swedish Armed Forces and gained financial analysis experience as a Summer Financial Analyst at EUKOR. Overall, Henrik has a strong background in finance, leadership, and strategic partnership.

Henrik Bootz has a Master of Science degree in Business and Economics with a specialization in International Finance from Lund University. Henrik also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics with a focus on Corporate Finance from the same university. In addition, Henrik attended the Royal Swedish Naval Academy in 1998, where they obtained the rank of Officer, Kapten, with a field of study in Combat & Information Officer. Furthermore, Henrik has obtained additional certifications including the CMA - Certified Management Accountant from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants, and the CertIA - Certificate in International Auditing (ISA), as well as the CertIFR - Certificate in International Financial Reporting (IFRS), both from ACCA.
