Andy Mickunas

Andy Mickunas is an experienced professional in education and exhibit management. Currently serving as Exhibits Manager and previously as Exhibits and Floor Experience Coordinator at the Science Center of Iowa, Andy has been instrumental in exhibit construction, maintenance, and on-the-floor programming since March 2021. Prior experience includes leadership roles at DVCanvass and Greenpeace, where Andy trained fundraising teams and engaged in canvassing efforts. Additionally, Andy has a background in education, having worked as a sixth-grade teacher at the Iowa City Community School District and as a STEM Education Specialist at The Iowa Children's Museum. Andy holds a Master of Science in Teaching from Drake University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
