David Brady has extensive experience in environmental education and biological research. As a Programs Presenter at the Science Center of Iowa since February 2019, David engages diverse audiences through educational programs. In parallel, David serves as a Substitute Teacher for Des Moines Public Schools. Previous roles include Biological Science Technician with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, where David conducted surveys on pollinator populations and monarch butterflies. David also held positions as a Visitor Services Intern at the Friends of Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge and as an Environmental Educator at the Austin Nature & Science Center, delivering programs on natural history and ecology. Earlier experience includes leading a trail crew for the Texas Conservation Corps and managing a tutoring program at Sylvan Learning. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University and has studied in Costa Rica and Panama.
