Bekki Hansen

Bekki (Burnette) Hansen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both education and science-focused roles. As the Director of Minnesota Operations at Science from Scientists since August 2023, Bekki oversees operational aspects of educational programs. Previously, Bekki served as a Teacher and Ballet Curriculum Director at Center Stage Dance Studio for 22 years and managed the Field Trip Program at The Bakken Museum for 16 years, focusing on K-12 education. Earlier career roles included Territory Sales Manager at Life Technologies and Research Technician positions at Mayo Clinic and Vanderbilt University. Bekki holds a BS in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MA in Education from St. Catherine University.
