Austin Harris

Austin Harris is the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Science Guyz, LLC, a tutoring firm in Athens, GA, specializing in Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Mathematics for undergraduate coursework, serving over 1000 students each semester since June 2010. Prior experience includes roles as a Technology Transfer Intern at the University of Georgia, assisting with licensing and patentability assessments, and as a Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry, where instruction in laboratory techniques was provided and significant research was conducted. Earlier experience includes a Co-Op Research Chemist position at Noramco INC, where synthetic and analytical experiments contributed to FDA approval for a proposed plant process change related to Topamax®. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law, a Ph.D. in Bio-Organic Chemistry, and a B.S. in General Chemistry, all obtained from the University of Georgia.
