Courtney Dingman

Courtney Dingman, MLIS, is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in philanthropic prospect research and consulting. As the Founder and Chief Scout of Scout Strategic Donor Research, LLC since January 2009, Courtney leads a firm that supports clients across various sectors by leveraging refined research skills. Concurrently, as a Prospect Research and Donor Management Consultant for the Science Museum of Minnesota, responsibilities include conducting ethical research on constituents and managing prospect data. Previous roles include Director of Research at Bentz Whaley Flessner, Manager of Library and Archival Services at Brookfield Zoo, and positions in academic and museum settings. Courtney holds a Master’s degree in Library Science and Information Studies focused on Archives and Preservation from Long Island University, along with a Bachelor's degree in English and Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, and a Fundraising Certificate from Indiana University Indianapolis.
