Asmita Yadav

Asmita Yadav is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at SJB School of Architecture and Planning since September 2022 and is a PhD scholar at the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur since January 2020, focusing on women-friendly cities and gender-sensitive urban planning. Asmita is also a reviewer for the American Journal of Environmental Science and Engineering and an accredited professional with the Indian Green Building Council since July 2023. Previous academic positions include Assistant Professor at Gateway College of Architecture & Design, where responsibilities included delivering lectures on various architectural topics. Asmita's early career included an architectural internship at Confluence Consultancy Services, focusing on layout design and drafting. Academic qualifications include a PhD from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, a Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Master of Architecture in Ekistics and Urban Planning from Jamia Millia Islamia.
