Katie Thompson

Katie Thompson is currently the Executive Director at Science Venture Studio, where Katie supports science and technology companies in developing their technology through non-dilutive federal research programs. Prior to this, Katie worked as the Program Director for EMPOWER Accelerator and as the Director at Startup Junkie. Katie also founded Rooted Startups to help entrepreneurs in Northwest Arkansas, and has experience as an Operations Manager at SurfTec and as an Elementary School Teacher at SPRINGDALE PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Katie holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Arkansas.
