Alan Mardinly

Alan Mardinly has extensive experience in the field of biology and neuroscience. Alan is currently serving as the Director of Biology at Science since July 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Biology at Neuralink from March 2019 to August 2021, where they also worked as a Member of the Technical Staff from August 2018 to March 2019.

Before their time at Neuralink, Alan was a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley from March 2014 to August 2018, conducting research in the field of neuroscience. Alan also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard Medical School from January 2013 to November 2013, where their research focused on the impact of sensory experience on the connectivity of the brain.
