Erick Burgess has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Erick is currently working at ScienceLogic, where they started as a Product Manager in July 2016. Before Cisco, Erick worked at MedStar Washington Hospital Center as a Network Analyst in the Lab Information Systems department. Erick was responsible for managing the deployment and administration of various systems supporting laboratory operations.

Erick began their career in the healthcare industry at SYSWARE Healthcare Systems in 1998, where they served as the Director of Technical Services and was involved in the installation, training, and support of a laboratory information system called PowerLAB.

Erick'sfirst professional role was as a Medical Technologist at Greenwood Medical Laboratory, where they also took on the additional role of Information System Administrator. Erick played a vital role in implementing a Lab Information System, transitioning from a manual paper-based system.

Prior to that, Erick worked as a Medical Technologist at Methodist Hospital Of Indiana Inc from June 1993 to 1995.

Erick Burgess earned their Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Purdue University Fort Wayne in the period from 1988 to 1993. Erick also holds a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2010.
