Rabie Van der Merwe has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Rabie began their career in 1997 as a Technical Support Engineer at Dimension Data. After working there for nearly a decade, they transitioned to a role as a Technical Account Manager at Blue River Management in 2006. Rabie then moved to Metropolitan Health Group, where they served as an IT Infrastructure Architect and Manager from 2007 to 2015. Following that, they worked as the National IT Manager at MMI Holdings Limited for a year. In 2016, Rabie joined AppCentrix as a NOC Tier2 Senior Support Engineer, responsible for customer relationship management and service delivery. Currently, Rabie is working at ScienceLogic, where they have held various positions, including Senior Technical Support Engineer and Principal Technical Support Engineer.

Rabie Van der Merwe has a diverse education history. In 1993, they completed their high school education at Bellville Technical High School. From 1994 to 1997, they pursued a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Light Current, at Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
