Sam Zimmerman

Sam Zimmerman has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, primarily in the SaaS software industry. Sam started their career at ScienceLogic as a Finance Intern in 2012 and then progressed to roles such as Financial Analyst and Accountant, Senior Accountant & Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, and Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis. Sam is currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at ScienceLogic.

During their tenure, Sam has been responsible for various key tasks and achievements, including leading the implementation of ScienceLogic's budget and forecasting tool, Adaptive Insights, which improved decision-making processes for the Board of Directors and the executive team. Sam has also been involved in conducting analysis of unit economics, managing financial reporting and presentations to investors, and assisting with M&A and funding transaction due diligence.

Prior to joining ScienceLogic, Sam gained experience as a Credentialing Specialist Intern at Inova Health System, where they were responsible for managing confidential information in the proprietary database and liaising with medical insurance companies and providers.
