Shankar Ananthanarayanan

Shankar Ananthanarayanan has over 8 years of experience in technical management and software engineering. Shankar is currently the Director of Engineering at ScienceLogic, where they have been managing 7 engineering teams in the transformation to a micro service based architecture. Prior to this, they were the Senior Engineering Manager at ScienceLogic Inc., where they created 4 engineering teams from scratch and was involved in all activities from planning, design, development, code reviews, CI/CD. Shankar has also worked as a Technical Lead at Riverbed Technology, where they wrote infrastructure for Analytics across products using nodejs, express and MongoDB. Shankar is skilled in a variety of programming languages and technologies, ranging from Python and Javascript to RabbitMQ and HBase. Shankar is also an expert in capacity planning of distributed systems, mainframes and virtualization.

Shankar Ananthanarayanan earned their Masters in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. Prior to that, they completed their B. Tech in Information Technology from S.R.M.E.C.. Shankar also has certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Security – Specialty and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
