Pierre Mathiot

Pierre Mathiot has extensive experience in higher education and public administration, currently serving as a professor of political science and director at Sciences Po Lille since January 2007. In February 2024, Pierre became the coordinator of the Technical Committee for "Equality and School Equity" at the Ministry of National Education and Youth. Prior roles at the Ministry include missions related to the reform of the baccalaureate and high school from 2015 to 2023, and serving as Vice-President for Student Life at the Conference of Grandes Écoles from April 2019 to February 2024. Pierre's academic background includes a diploma from Sciences Po Paris, complemented by a doctorate in political science, alongside early education culminating in a Baccalauréat A1.
