Emmanuel Breen

Emmanuel Breen is an accomplished academic and legal professional with extensive experience in French, EU, and international business law. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Sorbonne University since 2008, Breen also co-founded and co-chairs the Compliance Officer Training Curriculum at Université Panthéon Assas. Breen lectures on "Criminal Law in a Global Perspective" at Sciences Po Paris Law School and has previously held key positions at the International Anti-Corruption Academy and Collège de France. Prior to academia, Breen worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in various roles related to mergers and acquisitions, public-private partnerships, privatizations, and regulatory matters. Breen holds a Doctorate in Public Law from Paris-Sud University, a Master’s in Criminal Justice from the University of Paris I, and a degree from Ecole normale supérieure in law and social sciences.
