Romain Welter

Romain Welter is an experienced professional in education, content creation, and project management within the sports sector. Currently serving as Chargé de mission Education et Sport at Licra - Ligue Internationale Contre le Racisme et l'Antisémitisme since December 2023, Romain previously held the position of Senior Content Editor at OneFootball from 2018 to 2023, focusing on the development of the French newsroom through content writing and editorial planning. As Co-founder and Editor of Footballski from 2014 to 2017, Romain was instrumental in establishing a platform dedicated to football in the Balkans and Eastern Europe, overseeing writer recruitment and managing editorial strategies. Romain's expertise also includes working as a Pedagogical Expert and Project Manager with PL4Y International, where significant projects were designed to foster education and reconciliation through sport. Earlier experience includes roles as Project Coordinator with ARDR and UCPA, further showcasing Romain's commitment to international networking and local community engagement. Romain holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management and Territorial Development in Europe from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
