Nicolas Bruffaerts is an aerobiologist at Sciensano, where they are responsible for the national aerobiological surveillance network. They served as the Head of Unit for Aerobiology and previously worked as a Junior Scientist in Immunology at the same institution in 2015. Nicolas participated in the Eurodyssey AER exchange program at Divino Espírito Santo Hospital in 2009. They hold a PhD in Biological Sciences from Université libre de Bruxelles, as well as two Master's degrees in Bioengineering from the same university and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
