Tobias K. Torrissen

Tobias K. Torrissen has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations.

Tobias worked at Scienta AS as a Consultant Manager since February 2017.

Prior to that, they were a Senior Advisor at Skatteetaten (the Norwegian Tax Administration) from April 2015 to February 2017.

Tobias also served as a Board Member at The Norwegian Computer Society from June 2012 to April 2016, and a Board Member at Knowit systemdevelopment Göteborg from January 2012 to April 2015.

Tobias held the position of CTO at Knowit Objectnet from August 2008 to April 2015, and was a Board Member at Developer Events from August 2008 to 2009.

Tobias was also a Board Member at Know it Objectnet AS from November 2007 to November 2008, and worked in Unified Consulting A/S as a Board Member from April 2006 to November 2008.

At Unified Consulting A/S, they also served as a Senior Developer and Manager, working as a consultant at Telenor and as a developer on Cos, Telenor's middleware platform, from October 2003 to August 2008.

Additionally, they were a Board Member at javaBin - The Norwegian Java User Group from January 2004 to November 2008.

Furthermore, they have been involved with Cantara, where they worked as an Organizer since 2009 and organized a conference with 500 attendees in 2010.

Tobias K. Torrissen attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1994 to 2000, where they obtained a cand.scient degree in Informatics. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned several certifications. In November 2014, they obtained a TOGAF 9 Foundation certification from The Open Group. In December 2013, they received a certification for completing the "Principles of Reactive Programming" course from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, in November 2012, they obtained a certification for completing the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course, also from Coursera Course Certificates.
