Carsten Freyer

Carsten Freyer is an accomplished engineering and business development professional with extensive experience in the drilling and oilfield systems sector. Currently serving as Director Engineering and Managing Director at Scientific Drilling Controls GmbH since April 2014, Carsten has held significant roles at companies such as Bentec Drilling and Oilfield Systems as Vice President - Business Development and KCA Deutag as Business Development Manager for Europe and East Africa. Prior to these positions, Carsten spent over 18 years at Baker Hughes, where roles included Sales Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Senior Project Manager in Technology Portfolio Management, and various product line management and engineering positions in automated drilling and coiled tubing drilling systems. Carsten's academic foundation includes a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Fachhochschule Hannover, earned between 1989 and 1993.
