Michael Leahy

Mike Leahy joined Scientific Drilling in 2006 as Accounting Manager responsible for ensuring financial reporting and taxation compliance for the EMEA region. Now in the position of Director, Administration & Finance he leads Finance, HR, Legal, IT and Training for the Eastern Hemisphere.

With over 30 years’ experience in UK and International statutory and operational financial reporting, taxation and treasury; Mike completed his accountancy training with Total in Aberdeen and London and has gone on to hold senior financial leadership roles including, within the O&G industry, Finance Director at Neyrfor-Weir and West Africa Controller at Weatherford.

Mike is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a graduate of Strathclyde University with a degree in Mathematics.
