Michael Shewan

Michael Shewan has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Operations & Sales at Scientific Drilling since June 2014, where Michael has previously held the roles of Vice President for Eastern Hemisphere Operations & Sales and Regional Director. Prior to joining Scientific Drilling, Michael worked at Halliburton from August 2007 to April 2013, advancing through positions such as Regional Manager for Eurasia, Country Manager, and Sperry Drilling Caspian Area Manager. Michael's career at Halliburton began in August 1997, where roles included M/LWD Operations Leader and M/LWD Service Coordinator in Western Siberia, Russia, as well as M/LWD Field Engineer in the UK. Earlier in their career, Michael was an Electrical Technician for Distribution Systems at Scottish and Southern Energy from August 1986 to August 1997.
