Joe Shoop is an experienced software developer and engineering director with a diverse background in full-stack development, particularly in Salesforce, Java/Spring, and various web technologies. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Torch since July 2021, Joe has also held roles as Technical Lead and Software Engineer. In parallel positions, Joe has contributed to MonJa and cloudyfuture as a Software Developer since October 2018 and July 2018, respectively. Previous experience includes software development at Scientific Learning, Carnegie Learning, and Wells Fargo, as well as significant roles at Quantcast, Glassbox, and Moderati. Joe Shoop holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
