Sonya Sommerville

Sonya Sommerville is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education, dyslexia support, and skiing instruction. Currently serving as a Board Member at Brain Gym Canada since April 2022, and as a Brain Gym Instructor/Consultant and Dyslexia Specialist from July 2019, Sonya has a strong background in science, complemented by a Master of Business Administration in Computer Science from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Guelph. Additionally, Sonya is a Licensed Provider of Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant Plus Software with Scientific Learning, while also holding numerous ski instructor qualifications with the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance. Past roles include Resource Manager at Nortel Networks and ski instructor positions at the North Toronto Ski Club and Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort.
