Timothy Harms

Timothy Harms is an experienced contracting officer with a strong background in procurement and acquisitions. Since September 2019, Timothy has worked at Scientific Systems as a Contracting Officer. Prior to that, Timothy served in the United States Air Force from October 2012 to September 2019, holding various roles including Acquisition Team Lead Manager, where oversight of an eleven-member team provided acquisition support for construction and services, and Contract Specialist, managing contracting functions through automated systems. Timothy's experience also includes leading a government purchase card program at Yokota AFB, supervising over 200 users with significant purchases. Timothy holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Plymouth State University and an Associate's degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the Community College of the Air Force. Additionally, Timothy gained early experience as a VITA Student Volunteer, assisting individuals with tax returns.
