Matthew Stone

Matthew Stone is an experienced professional in the field of mass spectrometry and biochemistry, currently serving as an Advanced Workflow Specialist at SCIEX since January 2018, after holding the position of Sales Representative. Previously, Matthew worked at Waters from September 2011 to January 2018 as a Mass Spectrometry Sales Specialist and Senior Mass Spectrometry Field Applications Specialist, providing post-sales educational support for large molecule mass spectrometry applications. Prior to this, Matthew was a Post-Doctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota from April 2008 to September 2011, focusing on proteomic and metabolomic analyses to identify early-stage biomarkers of oral squamous cell carcinoma. Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College.
