Ryan Kershner

Ryan Kershner is an accomplished professional in the fields of innovation and product planning, currently serving as the Senior Director of Innovation and Product Planning at SCIEX since May 2023. With a strong background in strategic marketing, Kershner previously held the role of Strategic Marketing Director at HemoCue AB from 2021 to 2023 and served as Senior Innovation Manager for the Diagnostics Platform at Danaher Corporation from 2016 to 2021. Additional experience includes positions as Strategic Marketing Manager at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Reserve Information Warfare Officer in the US Navy, and Product Manager for Raman Spectroscopy at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Kershner began an academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kershner holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Engineering with a Minor in Management Science, as well as Bachelor of Science degrees in both Materials Science and Engineering and Humanities - German Studies, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
