Dan Wakefield

Dan Wakefield is currently working as the Head of New Business at SciLeads since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ContentCal as a Sales Team Lead from November 2021 to April 2022 and as a Senior Business Development Manager from May 2020 to November 2021. Dan also served as the Lead Business Development Manager at Trustpilot from October 2019 to May 2020.

Before these roles, Dan was part of Chillisauce where they began as a Senior Account Manager from February 2014 to June 2016 and then became a Sales Manager from June 2016 to October 2019. Dan had various responsibilities including managing a sales team, achieving sales targets, training and development, conducting meetings and appraisals, handling customer complaints, and analyzing sales data. During their time at Chillisauce, they achieved significant success by transforming the worst performing sales team into the most successful and winning the "Top Performing Team of the Year" award for two consecutive years.

Prior to Chillisauce, Dan worked at Groupia Ltd as a Senior Account Manager from September 2007 to January 2014. Their responsibilities included promotion and sales of destinations, lead conversion, event management, negotiation with suppliers, product development, and after-sales assistance. Dan consistently achieved high sales and profit generation, surpassing their team members.

Dan Wakefield attended Keele University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Criminology.
