Mujtaba Alam

Mujtaba Alam has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mujtaba started their career as a Pharma Associate at sanofi-aventis, where they focused on identifying potential markets and maximizing business scope. Mujtaba then worked as a Sales Promotion Officer at Lundbeck, promoting their products to specialized segments of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Mujtaba joined Nawan Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd as an Assistant Manager - Export, responsible for sales promotion and marketing activities in assigned territories. Mujtaba also worked at SJG Fazul Ellahie (Pvt) Ltd as an Assistant Product Manager, managing the Chronic Hepatitis B portfolio and developing annual marketing plans.

Currently, Mujtaba is working at SciLife Pharma as a Product Manager. In this role, they manage the Antibiotic & Gastroenterology Portfolio and is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities for assigned brands. Mujtaba develops quarterly and annual brand plans, recommends new molecules, and manages sales forecasts and budgets.

Throughout their career, Mujtaba has demonstrated strong skills in strategic planning, market analysis, product promotion, and team management.

Mujtaba Alam attended Adamjee Govt. Science College from 1999 to 2001, where they completed their Intermediate degree in the field of Pre-Medical. Following that, they enrolled in Karachi University from 2002 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree with a focus on Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology. Later, from 2007 to 2011, Mujtaba pursued a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing at the Institute of Business Management.
