Marcel Mata

Marcel Mata is an accomplished engineering manager currently leading cross-functional teams at Scilife, focusing on delivering core product modules for life sciences companies. With a robust background in technology operations and governance, Marcel previously served at Guacamaya Labs and Dow Jones, where they managed software engineering teams and nurtured servant leadership principles. They hold both a Bachelor of Science and an M.S. Candidate in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans and currently teach as an adjunct professor at EADA Business School. Based in Barcelona, Marcel is a native speaker of Spanish and English, authorized to work in the EU.
