Houfu Liu

Houfu Liu has extensive work experience in the field of pharmacology and drug metabolism. Their most recent role was as a Senior Director Clinical Pharmacology/DMPK at SciNeuro Pharmaceuticals, where they currently work. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director and Head of DMPK at RetroLead (Shanghai) BioPharma Co., Ltd from June 2021 to November 2021. From January 2018 to May 2021, they worked as an Associate Director in Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism at Sanofi China R&D. Houfu Liu also has a significant tenure at GSK, R&D Shanghai, where they held various positions from June 2008 to December 2017, ranging from Scientist to Principal Scientist in DMPK.

Houfu Liu received a Bachelor's Degree in Life Science and Biology from Fudan University in 2003. Houfu then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology, specializing in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2003 to 2008.
