Elizabeth Scholl

Bioinformatics Scientist at Sciome

Elizabeth Scholl has over 25 years of experience in the field of bioinformatics. Elizabeth began their career in 1993 as a Computer Applications Assistant at Brookhaven National Laboratory. In 1996, they moved to MCI Telecommunications as an Intranet Developer. In 1997, they joined the North Carolina State Center for Health Statistics as a Webmaster and Statistician. In 2004, they joined North Carolina State University as the Staff Director of the Bioinformatics Consulting and Service Core and Senior Bioinformatics Analyst. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Sciome LLC as a Bioinformatics Scientist.

Elizabeth Scholl earned their PhD in Biomathematics/Bioinformatics from North Carolina State University in 2004. Prior to that, they earned an MS in Operations Research from Stony Brook University in 1995. Elizabeth obtained their BS in Statistics and Biometry from Cornell University in 1993. Elizabeth also attended Ward Melville Senior High School from 1986 to 1989.
