Scioto Country Club
DaVaun Summers has extensive experience in the fitness industry, beginning as Fitness Director at The Sky Club from 1990 to 1993. Since then, DaVaun has held various roles including Certified Personal Trainer at Power Shack Fitness Centers until 2020, and Personal Trainer at The Fitness Tailor, LLC since 2000. DaVaun also serves as a Spin and Yoga Instructor at both McConnell Heart Health Center and Scioto Country Club, positions held since 2010 and 2011, respectively. Additionally, DaVaun has been a Yoga Instructor for Plakolite since 2019 and previously for Ashland Chemical and OTP Industrial Solutions. DaVaun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University, completed between 1987 and 1990.

Scioto Country Club
Scioto Country Club from its inception has always been an important part of the history of Upper Arlington and the city of Columbus. Opening in 1916 as a centerpiece of Upper Arlington, the Club is the focal point of a community that is one of the finest in the country. As James Hamill, one of the founding members stated at the Club’s opening, "Our Club, in time, will become one of the most important social centers of the community, and will constitute one of the show places of the city”. Today it stands as a pillar of the Upper Arlington Community, an important gathering place for family and friends, and a treasured part of the history of central Ohio. Over its 102 year history, Scioto has grown to include outstanding recreational facilities in addition to its warm clubhouse experience. A Club that supports the community that surrounds it, Scioto is truly our members’ home away from home.
