Jan Poth

Jan Poth has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In 1997, they began their career as a Medical Manager in Medical Affairs at Lipha Arzneimittel GmbH. In 1999, they moved to Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany as an International Strategic Product Manager in Pharma Strategic Marketing. In 2002, Jan Poth joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Corporate Vice President, Therapeutic Area Head CNS & Immunology. Jan then held various other roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, including Corporate Vice President, Therapeutic Area Head Immunology & Global Head Marketing Pipeline Products, Corporate Vice President, Global Head PM Marketing Pipeline Products, and Corporate Vice President, Head of International Project Management Immunology & Oncology. In 2019, they were appointed as General Manager & Head of Human Pharma Baltic Region. Currently, Jan Poth is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at SciRhom.

Jan Poth received a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kiel University between 1992 and 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Licensed Pharmacist in Pharmacy from Kiel University between 1987 and 1992.
