Vishal Kanani

Vishal Kanani has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Vishal is currently working as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect at Scitara Corporation, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, Vishal worked at CDK Global as a Senior Consultant from May 2016 to August 2022. In this role, they worked as a solution architect, facilitating application modernization and cloud migration. Vishal also implemented service catalog using vRA and terraform for centralized IaC solution. Before CDK Global, Vishal worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions as an Associate Operations Manager from September 2013 to May 2016, where they served as a middleware architect. Vishal was responsible for gathering application requirements, designing middleware and network architecture, building middleware servers, deploying applications, troubleshooting ongoing issues, preparing diagrams, and handing over applications to production support. Prior to that, Vishal worked at Mphasis as a Lead Infrastructure Engineer from May 2010 to September 2013, providing support for web server and application server based on Microsoft IIS, IBM WAS, Apache, PHP. At 3i Infotech, they worked as a System Administrator from July 2008 to May 2010, handling installation, hardening, fine-tuning, and deployment of web and application servers. Vishal also gained experience as a Technology Engineer at ICICI Bank Ltd from July 2008 to May 2010, providing support for web and application servers. Vishal started their career as a Service Engineer at Synechron Technologies Pvt. Ltd from March 2007 to July 2008, maintaining a portal site and providing support for Microsoft SharePoint and active directory. Prior to that, Vishal worked as a Field Engineer at Samrudhhi Systems from January 2005 to June 2005, where they were involved in LAN setup, internet connection sharing, and PC assembly.

Vishal Kanani pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from North Maharashtra University from the year 2000 to 2006. In addition to their education, they obtained the certifications of "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in November 2019, "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022, and "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" from AWS in October 2020.
