Sherita Rogers

Board Member at South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

Sherita Rogers currently works as a Special Education Teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District. She has also previously worked as a long-term substitute teacher in both Culver City Unified and Compton Unified School Districts.

Ms. Rogers comes to SCLARC with extensive advocacy experience and first hand knowledge of high-needs populations, including academically and socially-challenged youth. In the past, Sherita has also worked for Independent Living Services (ILS) programs as an assistant supervisor. She is an advocate who passionately promotes the rights and needs of individuals and families in the disability community andis a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
