Andrea Piolanti has extensive experience in software design, particularly in the field of human-machine interfaces (HMI) and CNC machine control. Since November 2006, Andrea has held the position of Senior Software Designer at SCM Group, focusing on HMI software development in Windows® environments, including WPF applications and multitasking architectures utilizing MVVM. Prior to this role, Andrea worked as a Software Designer for Grinding applications, creating HMI and PLC software with interactive 3D graphics based on OpenGL®. Andrea's career at SCM Group began in November 1994, with a focus on Object-Oriented and multitasking applications for CNC machine control, utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio 5 and 6 for 2D graphics. Andrea holds a degree in Mathematics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, earned between 1987 and 1992.
