Azim Idris

Azim Idris is a seasoned journalist and news editor with significant experience in various media roles. Currently serving as the News Editor at Scoopdotmy since August 2023, Azim has previously worked as a journalist at The Vibes and NME from September 2020 to August 2023. Prior to these roles, Azim was the Social Media Manager at TAPAUtv Sdn Bhd and served as a Senior Journalist at Hybrid News Limited and TRP (The Rakyat Post). Azim commenced a journalism career at The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad, holding the journalist position from June 2010 to June 2015. Azim holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from Universiti Malaya-Wales, a Diploma in Industrial Communication from the University of South Australia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Murdoch University.
