James Coleman has extensive experience in research and leadership roles across various industries, including public service, technology, and engineering. Currently serving as Chair and Trustee of the Cobb County Public Library Board of Trustees since February 2022, Coleman also contributes to the Scope of Work newsletter, focusing on manufacturing and infrastructure issues. Previous positions include Researcher and Oculus Launchpad Fellow, and Coleman has held key operational roles at Flashpoint, Fifth Room Storage, and McMaster-Carr, where innovations led to significant efficiency improvements. Education includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BA in Government from Harvard University.
