Michael J. Meyers

Michael J. Meyers has over 11 years of professional work experience in the field of security operations. In 2009, they began their career as a Navy Cryptologic Technician Networks (CTN) for the US Navy. In 2013, they moved to the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command as an Intrusion Detection Analyst. From 2015 to 2016, they worked for SDG Corporation as a Cyber Ark Engineer/Cyber Security Consultant. During the same time period, they also worked for Datacom as a Senior Security Analyst. In 2016, they joined the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as an Information Security Associate. In 2018, they founded Kage Security, where they served as a Penetration Tester and Security Consultant. In 2020, they joined Marriott International as a Sr. Manager Information Security and DFend as a Chief Information Security Officer. Michael J. currently works at Scope Security as a Manager Security Operations.

Michael J. Meyers obtained a Joint Cyber Analysis Course, Cyber and Network Security degree from the Center for Information Dominance; Corry Station; Pensacola FL in 2010. Michael J. has also obtained several certifications, including Splunk Architect from Splunk in November 2020, Radiant Logic in October 2015, Cisco (CCNA) in 2014, Microsoft Access Database Administrator in 2014, CompTIA Linux+ in 2013, CompTIA Security+ in 2013, GMON from SANS Institute in August 2018, AWS from Amazon Web Services (AWS), CyberArk, and GCIA from SANS Institute. Currently, Michael is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Ashford University, which they expect to complete in 2022.
