David Eckelberry is a seasoned gaming industry executive with extensive experience in product development and creative direction. Currently, as Senior Vice President at Scopely since September 2017, David leads the development of a new unannounced title and oversees teams across Europe, the USA, and Asia. Prior roles include General Manager & Vice President for Star Trek: Fleet Command, and Director of Product at MZ, where David managed the successful Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire. With previous positions at Microsoft, GREE, EA, LucasArts, Turbine, Wizards of the Coast, and TSR, David has a strong foundation in game design and leadership that spans over two decades. David holds a degree from Georgetown University, completed in 1995.
