Christina Hawatmeh

Christina Hawatmeh has a long and varied work experience. Christina began their career in 2008 as an Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2009, they interned at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Jordan Information Bureau (JIB). In 2010, they became a Program Officer at Columbia Global Centers. In 2012, they were part of the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. From 2013-2019, they were a Founder of an AI based search engine, an Investment Analyst at Inveon, and the Founder, CEO of Scopio. At Scopio, they founded the company to change the visual landscape to help the internet reflect the world we live in. Christina also wrote an award winning book that hit #1 on Amazon in new releases.

Christina Hawatmeh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University in 2010, majoring in Middle Eastern Studies and International Affairs with a concentration in International Development and a minor in Religion. In 2009, they attended SOAS University of London, where they studied Middle East Studies and International Affairs with a concentration in Economic and Political Development and a minor in Religion. Christina then continued their studies at Columbia University, where they earned a Master of International Affairs degree in 2014, with a focus in Management and Technology.
