Sergio Malerba

Sergio Malerba is an experienced claims management professional with over 30 years in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Currently serving as Regional Claims Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at Scor Reinsurance Company since October 2007, Sergio focuses on fostering a business-minded environment for claims professionals, improving performance, and managing claim file accuracy. Previously, Sergio held similar leadership roles at Converium Ltd. and Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., where responsibilities included reviewing claims against guidelines and providing detailed activity reports. Earlier in the career, Sergio worked as a Supervisor at QBE Seguros La Buenos Aires and AIG, overseeing General and Auto Liability claims. Sergio earned a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, graduating in 1987.
