Rakesh Sood

Rakesh Sood serves as the Managing Director of Sood Ventures, a venture capital and advisory firm focused on identifying innovative startups within the technology sector since 2013. In addition to this role, Rakesh acts as an advisor to ScoreData Corporation, which provides AI/ML-powered customer engagement applications for major global companies, and holds positions such as Software Chair on the Investment Selection Committee of Band of Angels. Rakesh's investment portfolio includes notable companies like Embolx, Inc., OnScale, Neura Inc., Couchbase, Ciel Medical, Arkin Net, and CliQr Technologies, with several achieving successful exits. Rakesh holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MS in Engineering (EE) from Stony Brook University.
