Chris Tompkins has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. Chris began their career at the Knoxville Museum of Art as an Executive Assistant and Membership Coordinator, where they assisted the Director of Development and managed a Raiser's Edge database. Chris then worked for MarketSource as a Retail Representative for Hewlett Packard / Compaq, working with major consumer electronics retailers in the region. At XM Satellite Radio, Chris served as an Activation Manager, responsible for managing XM's product line within Wal-Mart and traveling extensively. Chris then joined Belmont University as a Graduate Assistant, focusing on developing social networking and web-based projects. Chris later worked at Richland, LLC / Outpost Solar as a Special Projects Manager, successfully managing solar projects from start to completion. Currently, Chris is working at Rustici Software as the Director of Sales, leading the business team and contracting process, as well as functioning as an Evangelist, explaining complex software solutions and promoting elearning standards and products. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills.
Chris Tompkins obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied Public Relations. Chris'seducation at the University of Tennessee lasted from 2000 to 2004. Later, from 2008 to 2009, Chris pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Belmont University's Jack C. Massey College of Business.
