Head of Marketing at Scorpio Electric

Carolyn Theng has worked in various marketing and public relations roles for over 25 years. In 2022, they began working as Head of Marketing for Scorpio Electric, a Singapore-based electric motorcycle manufacturer. In 2019, they became the Marketing Manager (HOD) for Singapore and SEA at Bugatti Singapore, where they directed full spectrum marketing operations for an array of prestigious brands. In 2018, they worked as a Freelance Consultant, rendering end-to-end consultancy to the planning, management and delivery of the 2019 Singapore Tourism Board’s Grand Prix Season Singapore – Festival of Speed event. From 2007 to 2018, they were the Head of Department- Marketing and Public Relations at Lamborghini Singapore, where they drove the formulation and delivery of global branding and marketing strategies. From 1997 to 2007, they worked at FLEx Integrated Marketing as Assistant Vice President- Sales and Marketing, leading cold calling, leads generation, customer relationship development and proposal development and pitching.

Carolyn Theng's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Roehampton, an Environmental Engineering Diploma from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and an Executive Program from ESSEC Business School. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, such as a WSQ Digital Marketing Strategy Course from Equinet Academy, a Marketing Qualification (LAP Test) from Automobili Lamborghini, a Certificate of Project Management from MindMaps, an Experiential Selling and Marketing from Aventis School of Management, Advanced Excel from PSB Academy, Finance for Non-Finance Managers from PSB Academy, Negotiation Skills & Mastering Art of Selling from PSB Academy, and a Certificate of Commitment from Golden Hammer Course.
