Director Of Creative Development at Scorpion Design

Alyssa Lapp has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Alyssa started their career as a School Counseling Intern at both Buford Elementary School and Santa Monica High School in 2013, where they provided counseling services to students and assisted with college and career guidance. In 2012, Alyssa worked as a Head Hostess/Training at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, where they managed reservations, seated patrons, and answered phones. Alyssa then transitioned to the field of applied behavior analysis as a Behavioral Interventionist at The Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis in 2014, where they provided direct intervention to clients in various settings and implemented individualized programs. Currently, Alyssa is working at Scorpion since 2015. Alyssa started as a Creative Project Manager, responsible for ensuring the development and launch of well-designed and effective products within given timelines. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Director of Creative Development, where they are involved in client consultation, web strategy creation, and project management from conception to launch.

Alyssa Lapp holds a Master's Degree in Counseling which they obtained from Loyola Marymount University in the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at California State University Channel Islands from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Alyssa earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies at College of the Canyons from 2007 to 2009. In June 2013, they also obtained a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
